It’s official — The Animal and The Game will collide one last time on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Dave Bautista returned to WWE RAW this week in Pittsburgh to confront his former mentor and long-time rival Triple H face-to-face, although the Guardians of the Galaxy star came flanked with a host of private security, vowing to conduct business on “his terms”.
The two went back and forth on the mic, with Bautista refusing to enter the ring, claiming to have “learned from two of the dirtiest players in the game” early on in his career, knowing that Triple H had his trusty sledgehammer nearby for such an occasion.
After some intense negotiation, which basically consisted of Triple H refusing to give Big Dave what he wanted, and the Marvel star screaming “give me what I want” several dozen times, the match was made official for WrestleMania 35 under the bright lights of New York and New Jersey.
On one condition… The Game did agree to give his former Evolution protege the match he wanted, but it will be on “his terms”. The two will collide at the Showcase of Immortals in a match with no rules, and no restrictions, as there will be No Holds Barred.
Bautista finished off his night in Pittsburgh by claiming he will finally get the one thing he’s been searching for for years now — one final match to end his career on his terms, and one final opportunity to end Triple H’s career at the same time.
