I am really liking this summer metallics trend! I just wrote about it a week or so ago, but I haven’t been able to shake it from my mind since. I normally love metallic handbags anyway, but the idea of carrying them during those warm weather months is rather intriguing. You can never go wrong with a woven handbag for Summer. This lovely tote is woven, but instead of straw (or even regular leather) it is composed of metallic silver and gunmetal faux leather strips. The simple basket-weave adds just the right amount of texture without overwhelming the metallic. That’s important because you don’t want too much stuff going on at once. It would be way too busy otherwise! What is really fun about this tote, however, is the contrasting red worked into the weave near the bottom. The smaller size is great too! It is large enough to hold all your daily essentials, but not so big that you look like you are headed to the beach. And for less that $200, I don’t think you can really go wrong!
