EST of NXT Calls Out Io Shirai
Earlier this weekend we reported that WWE had officially announced the signing of Japanese wrestler Io Shirai, who is widely considered to be one of the best wrestlers in the world today. Apparently the self-proclaimed “EST of NXT” is none too happy about the new talent acquisition, Tweeting out “Just another indie girl for me to be better than…” in response to the big news.
Belair has been receiving a tremendous push on NXT television over the last month or so. After picking up some big early victories following her official debut, she stepped up to her first big challenge to defeat Dakota Kai shortly after Takeover: Chicago.
