— According to Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, the original main event for NXT TakeOver: New Orleans was supposed to be Andrade Cien Almas vs. Lars Sullivan, however, Sullivan has suddenly vanished and Alieister Black is now going to be wrestling for the championship instead.

— Meltzer added that Sullivan wasn’t at the most recent NXT tapings – even in a backstage capacity – and has been missing from live events as well, so something is going on for sure, but he isn’t exactly sure what. Bryan Alvarez added that Sullivan was previously very active on Twitter, but he suddenly stopped almost a month ago and there had been no tweets from him in almost a month until he popped up with a random “Lars Sullivan is da man” message two days ago.
