Back-to-School Backpack Style by Fjallraven, STATE, and Herschel Supply

It’s hard to believe that we are in September already and the summer season is behind us. Even more hard to believe is that it’s back-to-school time, and Public schools are already in session and college classes have already began. Where did the summer go? It went too fast for me, however one thing to look forward to is the back-to-school shopping! There is nothing more exciting that scoring an awesome new backpack for toting books and other school essentials. Backpacks can be super fun and, yes, super stylish too. You just have to know where to look, and keep in mind to not let style distract from function. Sometimes you find the coolest looking backpack but then after a couple wears you realize it’s not the most comfortable thing to wear. So I did some searching of my own and came across some delightful pieces here to get you started.

Fjallraven Kanken Backpack – $75
An oldie, but goodie! The Fjallraven Kanken has been a go-to style for a long time (since 1978), but it still looks fresh and new. I love the structured feel and clean lines of this “boxy” style. Available in SO many colors and sizes!

STATE Adams Backpack – $85
STATE puts a new spin on a very classic-looking style — Pastels! The colors are so playful and fun, perfect for giving your mood a little boost. I especially love the rose/mint combo.

Herschel Supply Co. Little America Backpack – $100
Drawstring backpacks are back! I love this hiker backpack-inspired style, complete with flap closure and straps. It provides a little bit different look and it’s really roomy too.
