Arsenal, Manchester City & Tottenham make their interest known for Djibril Sidibé

Premier League trio Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have registered an interest in AS Monaco right-back Djibril Sidibé, according to L’Équipe.

His advisers are now waiting to hear from the Principality side about their official position as to whether or not Sidibé is expected to stay at the club this summer.

Sources close to say about the player had the following to say about his situation:

“When one leaves for the sake of leaving, you expose yourself to going backwards.”

The possible wave of departures “worries him a bit,” according to the same source and “he continues to dream” about the Premier League.

“Even if there is no certainty in terms of playing time, there are clubs who when they come in they make you think. One can imagine that if a club puts a big sum on the table for Djibril, it will be because they want him to play. Today, he is well positioned in the international hierarchy in his position.”

“[Monaco] are saying that they do not need money but there are offers than one cannot refuse,” the source said about Monaco’s position when it comes to selling players this summer.
