Anya Hindmarch Crisp Packet Metal Clutch

Since when did a bag of potato chips (or similar) become a fashion statement? When I saw the Anya Hindmarch Crisp Packet Metal Clutch, this was the exact thought that went through my mind. I have certainly seen some unusual bags over the years and I have always welcomed them. After all, they can be quite inspiring for blog posts. While this particular piece is rather unusual, I would not have imagined that something so unusual could also be so mundane.

As its name suggests, this clutch resembles a snack-sized packet of potato chips. The metallic exterior of this clutch is actually solid, so don’t expect any crinkling sounds while you are holding it. The clutch is made up of two halves that are hinged together with a push button clasp on top (not unlike most box style clutches). Oddly enough, the “crisp packet” look has gained sort of a cult following. Personally, I find this clutch a bit weird. Not necessarily in a bad way, but this clutch definitely needs to be paired with the right personality. Someone who is fashion-forward, yet a little bit quirky. There is no arguing that the color is lovely though! I really like the metallic apple green!
