Ligue 1 side AS Monaco have approached French international forward André Pierre Gignac over a possible transfer, according to Le 10 Sport and France Football.
The 32-year-old is looking to return to Europe, currently playing for Mexican side Tigres.
ASM have made an approach with a view to the potential departure of captain Falcao, who they are open to selling, with strong interest from Chinese clubs and AC Milan. The Italian side came close to accepting a swap deal involving André Silva, engineered by Jorge Mendes, but finally decided against the move.
Milan do however retain an interest in the Colombian international, who is in no hurry to leave Monaco, even if he could be tempted by a final big contract.
