I normally do not like white bags. I currently only own one white handbag and that is the Louis Vuitton “Multicolor” Speedy 30. Even though it’s not fully white, it’s pretty close to being an all white bag. Yes, it has a lot of color on it but my gosh is it hard to keep clean. I have to constantly clean it because you can easily see when it’s dirty. White bags can be very annoying but they are just like white cars, very beautiful and hard to say no to. One of the most gorgeous white bags I’ve seen in quite some time is the Alexander Wang “Pelican” Satchel.
This bag is stunning. It’s simple and the little details catch your eye. When I first took a glimpse of it, it reminded me of an Hermes “Birkin”. If you look at a “Birkin” there really isn’t much to it but it has this beautiful, iconic and timeless look to it. The same goes with the “Pelican”, it’s simplicity is breathtaking. This is definitely one of those bags that as soon as I see I would say, “Oh my gosh”.
Even though it’s white, I truly believe I would use this bag all year long. It’s too pretty to keep locked in a closet during the Fall and Winter. You would have to be extra careful with it getting dirty but it’s worth it! This bag is so classy and deserves to be used non-stop and at anytime of the day. The plus side of it, since it’s white you can match it up with so many different outfits! Just about any color goes with with!
