Alexander McQueen De Manta Paisley Silk Clutch

Handbag designer Alexander McQueen is known for putting a spin on so many different goth-like trends and styles- you know, black leather, studs, and skulls. Although, Alexander McQueen has played with prints a time or two in the past, such as the Paisley print. I know, it’s not something that most people would associate with Alexander McQueen at all, however when I came across this new version of the classic De Manta Clutch dressed in the 70′s inspired paisley print, it was love at first site. What do you guys’ think of the Alexander McQueen De Manta Paisley Print Silk Clutch?

This lovely piece is made of silk, which seems fitting for a paisley print. I love the bright red, floral-ish paisleys, and contrasting black trim. It’s available in a couple sizes, pictured here is the small ($495). I think it compliments the otherwise loud print quite nicely. Aside from the print, this clutch has everything we have come to know and love about the De Manta. I love the shape, the fold-over corners, and double zip closure. Plus this particular piece has a lower price tag than other De Mantas. You can’t beat that!

I picture Alexander McQueen De Manta Paisley Silk Clutch paired with something simple and maybe unexpected, like a little black dress or black dress pants and a dressy top, to keep it from feeling too cowgirl-ish.
