This is going to sound weird (or maybe not), but I have been obsessing with briefcase-style handbags lately. It started with the larger pieces from Cambridge Satchel Company… now I am seeing this style everywhere! So what is it about this style that is so appealing to me? I have wondered that a bit myself. I suppose part of it is because I am still dreaming of having a job where I would actually need one. I mean really need one! I just like how professional-looking they are. Oh well, at least there will be plenty to choose from if and when I am ready. I do like this one I stumbled across today – the Foley + Corinna Attache Bag!
I have loved Foley + Corinna for quite some time, mostly for their unique designs. While this particular bag is far from being unique, I still like the overall look of it. The structured shape, gusseted sides, and large flap definitely gives this piece that business-like quality. For some added femininity though, there is also an hourglass-shaped inset on the front of the bag. If you are looking for a little versatility, this bag has that too! It comes with an optional crossbody strap, just in case you don’t want to carry it by the handle.
