While the broadcast information for next month’s “Greatest Royal Rumble” in Saudi Arabia has yet to be confirmed, it seems increasingly likely that the event will be shown on the WWE Network.
During an appearance on “The Jim and Sam Show” on SiriusXM today, Roman Reigns shared what he knows about WWE’s plans for the Greatest Royal Rumble. “Hopefully I’m not giving spoilers here,” Reigns said. “But I believe it’s going to be a huge Network special.”
The show will be taking place at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on April 27th. It’s the first event in WWE’s 10-year agreement with the Saudi General Sports Authority. The marquee attraction is a 50-participant Royal Rumble match, and Reigns, John Cena, Triple H, AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, The New Day, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, and Shinsuke Nakamura have been officially announced for the show.
When the Greatest Royal Rumble was first announced, WWE noted that ticket information and broadcast plans would be made available in the coming weeks.
