Foley on Undertaker Issue, Owens on Missing WM35, Paige Team News

The Undertaker had been set to take part in a Q&A session as part of the “Rise of the Taker” event for Inside the Ropes. However, it was just announced that The Undertaker won’t be present for the Q&A session of the event, and he has been replaced by WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. On his official Facebook page, Foley took the time to provide an update on what happened with “The Deadman.” Foley says that it was WWE that ultimately decided to keep “The Phenom” off of the Q&A, but Undertaker did supposedly try to convince the company to let him go through with the idea. Undertaker did not appear at WrestleMania 35 this year, but he did make his return to WWE television during Raw last week when he attacked Elias.
“It certainly wasn’t Undertaker’s fault either.” Foley wrote. “In fact, he flew to Connecticut to convince WWE to let him do the tour in some way, shape, or form. When the contractual dust settled, Kenny found himself without the spoken word part of the biggest spoken word tour he’d ever put together – maybe the most highly anticipated spoken word tour the wrestling world has known.”
While it was strange not to see the likes of The Undertaker or Dean Ambrose during WrestleMania this year, one other top WWE star who did not appear during the event last weekend was Kevin Owens. Owens returned to the ring back in February but was left off of the show completely. On Twitter, Owens commented on the matter by saying that he was saddened after learning that he would not be competing at the event, but he hyped up the Superstar Shakeup that will begin during Raw tonight. Owens had reportedly been set to challenge Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship during WrestleMania, but those plans were said to have changed after Kofi Kingston rose up in popularity and faced Bryan during the show instead.

Missing WrestleMania really sucked but the next 2 days mean just as much to me.
Raw on Monday and Smackdown Live on Tuesday, both live from the @BellCentre for the #SuperstarShakeup.
I don’t know when I’m showing up but when I do, you can rest assured it’ll make some noise.

WWE Superstar Paige has mostly remained off of television ever since she was removed from the SmackDown General Manager position last year. However, she announced on SmackDown last week that she is bringing in a new team that will be a threat to current Women’s Tag Team Champions The IIconics. She has continued to tease the arrival of the new team on Twitter over the past few days. The former Divas Champion even asked fans which brand her team should debut on. The Superstar Shakeup will determine whether or not the mystery team competes on Raw or SmackDown. No word on who the mystery team is yet, but the answer will finally be revealed either tonight or tomorrow night.

Okay but where do you guys think I’m bringing my new mystery tag team? ??#SuperstarShakeup @WWE
