Esther Stewart Collaboration with Valentino Handbags- The Mime Bag

Red, white, and blue is something you see a lot around Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Everything from clothing, shoes, jewelry, scarves, and even handbags. With Labor Day fast approaching though, I can tell you that you won’t be seeing me decked out in red, white, and blue. Personally, the look has just never been that appealing to me. Probably because it is something my grandma would partake in year after year. However I’m loving this Valentino Mime Bag- less traditional take on the patriotic colors. For Autumn 2015, fashion and art collide in a special collaboration between Valentino and young artist, Esther Stewart. Take a moment and discover the Valentino Mime Shoulder Bag!

Burgundy, cream, and navy make this bag unique! There’s even a hint of soft pink in there for good measure. I don’t know what it is, but something about this color combination really caught my eye. I love the crisp lines and triangular panels too. They give this piece a very geometric look. You definitely wouldn’t mistake this for a sailor-inspired piece! You can carry this bag as a satchel or shoulder bag, making it a little more versatile. If you like navy or burgundy for fall (two unappreciated colors for the season), this piece would fit in nicely for sure.
