Milly is still making an appearance on the handbag scene. At first, I was finding the sudden surge in Milly handbags unusual. After all, Milly has always been (in my mind) a clothing designer. With very cute designs, clothing to boot! Recently though, I have grown more accustomed to seeing Milly handbags popping up here and there. I like them too! And I’m liking the most recent handbag I have stumbled upon from this designer. Introducing the Milly Darby Geo Tote!
When I first saw this tote, the shape immediately caught my attention. The clean lines and modern shape give this tote a very sophisticated look. Actually, it reminds me a little bit of the Reed Krakoff Atlantique Tote. Does anyone else see it? Certainly this is not a bad thing, since I happen to love Reed Krakoff as well!
I am also fascinated by the design on the front of this tote. The tote is made of leather and the design is actually stitched into the leather with contrasting thread. The design is geometric-ish in appearance. I keep looking at it and I can’t decide what it is supposed to be (if anything at all). A letter “V” or “X”? An arrow? Hard to say, but I like it anyway.
