Don’t let the name Shrimps fool you into thinking it is some kind of themed seafood restaurant. Nope, Shrimps is actually a London-based fashion designer created by Hannah Weiland. So what’s up with the name? It turns out that Shrimps was Weiland’s childhood nickname. Not sure if that is something to be proud of, but her designs certainly are! It takes a lot of talent to create such fun and interesting pieces from faux fur. And she definitely has it! Simply check out the Shrimps Pluto Faux Fur Clutch and I think you will agree!
It may not be immediately obvious, but daisies are the signature of this brand and the Shrimps Pluto Faux Fur Clutch is shaped like a daisy. What I love about this design is the color combination. The petals are powder blue and the center is mandarin orange. It is this color combination that signals to us that this is a grown-up clutch, not a throw pillow you might find in a 10 year old’s bedroom. This isn’t to say that this clutch isn’t playful and fun. The soft, furry texture and daisy shape give this clutch a unique, and somewhat quirky, look that the young at heart are sure to enjoy. I see this clutch fitting in well at casual outings, where nobody is going to take you too seriously. Pair it with some simple, but not too serious pieces and you will have a look that is sure to grab everyone’s attention!
