Sex and the City is my favorite T.V. show even though it’s no longer on air. I’ll never forget the episode when Samantha went to any length to get her hands on an Hermes “Birkin”. She had to have it and did whatever she could to get it. She ended up losing it at the end but then in later episodes we saw the cast carrying them like they were any old bag. Ever since then I fell in love with the “Birkin” and I can’t wait for the day that I can buy myself my very own! I personally want one in Black with gold hardware but until then I’ll keep dreaming.
After the Sex and the City episode, I realized how popular they were in my hometown. I kid you not, I see about five or more on a daily basis. I see them in all colors and all shapes and sizes. The bag is truly beautiful in person and I can’t believe that so many women around me have a bag that costs well over $10,000. There is one woman I know that has about twenty of them in all different colors! It only inspires me to work hard so I can get one! I think I’d cherish it forever and probably use it constantly if I owned it. With that said, the Hermes “Birkin” is definitely the most gorgeous bag I’ve ever seen and is by far, the most popular bag in my neighborhood.
