For many people, the holiday season means enduring the stress of finding the perfect gift for that special someone. It can be so hard sometimes, even when you know the person really well. So often do I hear people say- What do you get for the guy who has everything? My honest response is that you can never go wrong with a good work or travel bag. Of course this is true for ladies, but guys too like, and on most occasions use everyday, as well.
This is why I thought this would be a good time to share with you some of my favorite bags for him. Hopefully it will help you find the perfect gift!
Herschel Supply Co. Little America Raven Crosshatch Weave Backpack
Available Here at SHOPBOP – $100
Backpacks are making a serious comeback. Guys use them for everything from work to the gym. They are casual, yet the right style still looks professional enough for a laid back office setting. I really like this backpack from Herschel. The color is amazing and the flap closure styling makes this backpack more urban than hiking trail.
The Herschel Supply Co. Little America Backpack is made of nylon with rubber straps. The magnetic top flap covers the drawstring closure, which is ideal if it starts raining! The lined interior has a padded laptop compartment and a pass-through port for headphones. Available in many colors, but my favorite is the monochromatic “Raven Crosshatch Ballistic weave” grey and black.
Bally Tepolt Classic Messenger Bag
Available Here at NEIMAN MARCUS – $895
Messenger bags come in so handy when you have to carry around a laptop or tablet for work. Any messenger bag will do, simply put your device in a separate padded sleeve before sticking it in the bag. I love the classic, simple black styling on this piece, as well as the web strap. It really gives this piece an updated look.
Bally Tepolt Messenger Bag is made with soft calfskin leather, accented with striped trim at the sides. The top flap covers a slim front pocket and lined, 3-pocket interior.
Jack Spade Striped Barrow Slim Portfolio Briefcase
Available Here at Barney’s New York – $398
You don’t see a lot of briefcases anymore. But if you want a really professional look, a briefcase is the best way to go. You can put large papers and files in there, as well as a laptop or tablet. I love the somewhat casual style of this piece, the middle stripe looks great!
The Jack Spade Striped Barrow Portfolio Slim Briefcase rendered in rigid saffiano leather and detailed with a zip front pocket. The magnetic back pocket features a bottom zip for stacked transport on wheeled luggage.
