Before today, I have never heard of Koku. But I stumbled across this Net-A-Porter exclusive from Koku and I was instantly intrigued. Further investigation revealed that the company was founded in 2009 by two sisters, Maria and Ilena. All of their accessories are handcrafted in Greece. This left me with just one question: Where have they been hiding all this time? The Koku Vivia Woven Fold-Over Clutch is just too cute! It is a shame I didn’t know about this designer before.
When I first laid eyes on this clutch, I was instantly drawn to its bright colors. The neon pink, green, and orange really pop. But what can I say? I am a sucker for highlighter hues during the summer months. The pattern is described as a floral pattern, but I see something else. The curvy stripes remind me of the visual chaos created by a herd of zebras. So for me, this is more of an animal print than a floral print. The busy pattern is complimented quite nicely by the simple design of this clutch. You can’t go wrong with a fold-over clutch! They work well for a variety of occasions. This clutch would be perfect for more casual events like outdoor parties and barbeques.
