Valentine Accessories- Rebecca Minkoff, Louis Vuitton & DvF

It is hard to believe, but Valentine’s Day is less than a month away. I have already seen all of the heart-shaped candy appear on store shelves, so I suppose I shouldn’t be incredibly surprised. It just feels like the new year has just begun and yet we are all looking forward to what comes during the second month of the year. I used to be a huge fan of Valentine’s Day. Recently, things have sort of soured for me. It just seems so overrated. If my sweetie wanted to get me a gift though, I wouldn’t turn it down! I have always enjoyed the Valentine’s Day-themed accessories that reemerge year after year. So if your sweetie enjoys handbags and accessories, one of the following pieces might just make her (Valentine’s) day.

Rebecca Minkoff Heart Cross Body Bag. $198
In place of a tambourine-style, Rebecca Minkoff has created an adorable heart-shaped cross body bag. This quilted piece is different from more cliche styles. It comes in quartz (light pink) or black too, which I would consider less traditional colors.

Rebecca Minkoff Hey Cutie Heart Pouch. $75
Love those conversation candy hearts? I used to love to pick out which message I wanted to give to someone. Rebecca Minkoff plays this idea up with these little heart-shaped pouches, each with its own phrase. Shown is Hey Cutie, but Be Mine and Heartbreaker are also available in equally delicious colors.

WGACA Louis Vuitton Vernis Heart Coin Purse. $750
Nothing beats a classic Louis Vuitton creation. The heart coin purses were extremely popular when they were first introduced. These are fairly difficult to find, so it is nice to see a lovely pre-owned piece on Shopbop.com.

Diane von Furstenberg Stretch Heart iPhone 5 / 5S Case. $48
Looking for something a little more techie? Try an iPhone case. This one features a cute red and black heart print. Plus in interior features a special message: Words are powerful, use them carefully.
