Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Which I’m having such a hard time believing because there doesn’t seem to be a lot of heart themed pieces this year. Usually this time of the year, like clockwork, we see tons of handbags with heart prints and heart shaped coin purses (like the Louis Vuitton Vernis Heart Coin Purse). So the lack of anything heart themed sure doesn’t help one get into the Valentine’s Day spirit. But I did come across one piece today and figured I should give it a shot. I must admit, the heart shaped design is kind of cute. I like the top handle too. It somehow gives this piece an almost vintage vibe. Plus the extra long zipper pulls are very Marc Jacobs. I like how this bag is a small, compact cross body. After all, we are dealing with a bright red heart here. You don’t want something like that to be too large or in your face. Instead, this piece falls under the cute and charming category. So what if you only feel comfortable carrying it for a short time each year! If it puts you in the Valentine’s Day mood, then isn’t that a good thing?
