The Maison Martin Margiela Spring 2015 Runway was filled with nudes, a tribute to one of Martin Margiela’s last shows which featured stretchy nude body stockings (Yikes!). Nudes are great and perfect for the spring season, but not body stockings. That is why I was so happy (and relieved) to see the delightful nude pieces showcased throughout the collection. And that includes the lovely bag you see pictured here. Introducing the Maison Martin Margiela Convertible 3-in-1 Bag from the Spring 2015 runway!
Okay, this bag isn’t exactly nude, but the ivory and tan would compliment a nudes palette quite nicely. This unique piece features two pouches (one canvas and one leather) strung on a large metal ring, which is something I don’t think I have ever seen before. This bag can be carried one of three ways: on your shoulder using the optional strap, on your arm using the metal ring, or in hand by disassembling the bag and using a pouch as a clutch. The metal ring opens to allow each pouch to be used individually. This bag also features a key fob. However, I think I would prefer to leave that part off. It sort of reminds me of a spatula. Otherwise, this is a wonderful piece that would compliment just about anything from business to casual.
