For unique accessories, especially clutches, I like to turn to bohemian chic pieces. Not because of their earthy tones (which, don’t get me wrong, are pretty darn awesome), but for their fun and somewhat quirky prints. They are perfect for the spring and summer months because they are fun and airy. So it should come as no surprise that Star Mela handbags have a way of catching my eye. The London-based company was launched in 2008 and they specialize in luxurious and bohemian-inspired essentials. And right now, the Star Mela Peacock Estee Pouch is looking pretty hot!
When I look at this Star Mela Peacock Clutch though, I don’t necessarily think bohemian chic. The bird motif on the front depicts two peacocks (or peafowl?) facing one another. And when I think of peacocks, I tend to think of India and not Eastern Europe. Nevertheless, I love this clutch for its muted spring colors. The multi-tiered tassel in pea green, ecru, and coral is really cool too! I am a lover of tassels, but this one is truly unique. The tight basket weave also lends a spring-y feel to this clutch. This inexpensive piece would look lovely paired with a coral sundress and flat sandals for an affordable springtime look.
