There are not a ton of Australian handbag designers out there, but when a new one pops up it’s always interesting. Here we have Zimmermann, who is one that didn’t necessarily recently pop up- they have been around since 1991. Instead, it’s more like a revival. Zimmermann has been putting out some really beautiful handbag styles and I, for one, am taking notice. Pictured here is one particular style that caught my eye. Somewhere between casual and chic, but with a twist, Zimmermann handbags are said to epitomize Australian style. Now I can’t speak to that since I’m not Australian. What I do know is that this bag is definitely a very fun and unique piece by anyone’s standards. I absolutely love the nude color. It’s such a hot color, even as we progress into the winter months. I also love the linked leather design. It creates such a great, almost crochet-like texture and an interesting pattern. It sort of reminds me of a sunburst in a way. The crossbody strap also adds some versatility to this style, while also helping to maintain that semi-casual element. I think this lovely bag would look great paired with denim and a cozy sweater.
