I am still in love with my Foley + Corinna Mini City in Fuchsia! Believe it or not, my favorite part about the bag is the cute little tassel dangling from each zipper pull. I just have a thing for tassels, I really don’t know what it is. That’s why I was heartbroken when one of the tassels worked its way off of the zipper pull while I was out shopping one day. I didn’t want to lose the other one, so I actually got some hot pink thread and stitched the knot together. I know, I’m nuts! But it looks like Foley + Corinna has gone a little nutty too. They have taken my beloved tassels to the extreme! Introducing the Foley + Corinna Tassel Fringe Crossbody!
What I find most interesting about this bag is how they used tassels to create a fringed effect on the front side of the bag. The tassels are tied to a multi-layer chain and draped in a swag-like fashion. It is a very unique way of doing fringe, I don’t think I have seen anything like it before. A little bit on the quirky side, but I think I could get used to it. Plus it looks like they fixed the loose tassel problem! If you look closely, you will see that each knot has been stitched so it will not come loose. If only they would have thought of that before!
