Diego Rigonato took to social media last night to announce his departure from the newly-promoted Ligue 2 club Stade De Reims.
The Brazilian midfielder, who spent the past six years at the French club netting 26 times in 154 appearances, has joined the Emirati club Al Dharfa.
After a fruitful season for the Brazilian where he helped his side secure promotion to Ligue 1, and was crowned Ligue 2 Player of the Year, the 30-year-old midfielder has opted not to renew his contract with Stade De Reims.
Rigonato is already looking forward the upcoming season with his new club, claiming that he’s “very happy for this new challenge”.
