As reported by Calcio Mercato, Marseille’s loanee Arsenal defender William Saliba is seeing interest from a variety of Europe’s biggest clubs over a summer move.
Italian champions Inter Milan are keeping tabs on 20-year-old Saliba as they look to strengthen their defence, as are city rivals AC Milan, say the outlet. Arsenal, meanwhile, may also be more inclined to hold on to Saliba after some impressive Ligue 1 displays this season and his increasing consistency.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, are also keen on the Frenchman and have already made contact with Arsenal over a move’s feasibility with the London club seeking €30m for the player who joined from Saint-Étienne for the same amount in 2019.
Hopes of Marseille keeping their premier defender beyond this season are fading fast with such an impressive list of suitors as Djibril Niang, the player’s agent, continues to build relationships with many clubs.
