Rebecca Minkoff is no doubt one of my favorite designers. Her handbags are stylish and affordable. But they also have an element of predictability. You know what I’m talking about. Rebecca Minkoff has a very distinct style. Her designs have a little bit of edge to them. They are fun and flirty too! But there is also something else I have noticed. Most Rebecca Minkoff handbags have more relaxed shapes. And even those bags that are structured, the lines are soft. So you can imagine my surprise when I saw this new Rebecca Minkoff style. This satchel is one of several new similar styles. What grabbed my attention was how structured this bag is. The lines are crisp and clean. The leather is stiff and the interior is unlined. This bag very much reminds me of the Cambridge Satchel Company bags I have been admiring for some time now. What makes the Blake Satchel a Rebecca Minkoff is all those studs. A single line of pyramid-shaped studs runs along the top handle and along a strap that encircles the bottom of the bag. This is such a beautiful style and a great change for this designer.
