The Alexander McQueen De Manta Clutch is back! This is probably one of my favorite McQueen styles. And judging from all the new versions that keep appearing season after season, this is a favorite for a lot of other bagistas as well. I don’t blame anyone though, this clutch certainly has an allure. I have always loved the soft lines and folded corners. They give this clutch a certain degree of uniqueness that I find very attractive. I don’t think I have ever seen a version of this clutch that I didn’t like. The one you see here is certainly no different! Introducing the new Alexander McQueen De Manta Flesh Dragonfly Spine Clutch!
When I first laid eyes on this clutch, I was a little puzzled by the pattern that is printed on its satin exterior. The black and off-white remind me of an Art Deco look. But what are all those lines crisscrossing every which way? Well if you examine some other pieces from this latest collection, it will all start to make sense. There is a common theme – Dragonflies. And what are those lines? It looks to me like the pattern was inspired by dragonfly wings. So cool! Dragonflies trump butterflies in my book! They eat mosquitoes!
