We recently noted that WWE’s resident double champ Becky Lynch had gotten into it with Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix in a social media scuffle, after the Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champion reminded the so-called “Glamazon” to stay away from her titles.
Phoenix responded, reminding The Man that as a three-time women’s champion and a former Divas Champion, the two were actually tied in all-time title reigns. This prompted Lynch to release a photo of herself in the ring with Beth’s Hall of Fame husband Edge, sarcastically agreeing that they were “neck and neck” – an obvious shot at the Rated-R Superstar’s early retirement.
“Listen The Man,” Edge fired back on his own Twitter. “You’re doing good for yourself now kid. But we can all find the footage of your steampunk phase, with a familiar entrance where you attempt Edge lite. And fail. Sooooo begone with you.”
