As previously reported, the Young Bucks made an appearance for House of Glory on Friday night and following the show, announced that they would be facing Private Party on the second episode of AEW television on the TNT network, airing live on Wednesday, October 9.
In a minor update on that, it was also announced that the match will be a first round match in a tournament to crown the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Championships. Officials have noted in the past that this tournament will feature world class matches and will be one of the core focusses of the AEW television product at launch.
While details are still scarce at this point, we do know that the Dark Order and Best Friends, Chuck Taylor and Trent, will face off later this month at AEW All Out with the winner earning a first round bye.
