I have had a thing for 3.1 Phillip Lim ever since I first laid eyes on the Edie Bow Bag. I still have dreams about that bag, but it looks like it will forever be the one that got away. Oh well, at least it got me interested in 3.1 Phillip Lim handbags. Now it seems I am always on the look out for new styles from this designer. When I first saw this bag, I stopped dead in my tracks. What an unusual piece! The body of this bag is made of leather. However, the front is adorned with a PVC appliqué design. The design itself depicts a woman with blond hair breaking down into tears. The lines are very bold, almost like a comic book illustration. So why the name? My guess is that the woman is crying because of a bad break-up. Hmm, I can’t help but wonder who dumped who. Admittedly, this bag is a little off the wall. But it does show some potential as a conversation piece, especially if you’re looking for something different.
