Fringe is one of those trends that keeps reappearing over and over again. I cannot tell you why this happens, I just know that it does. With that being said, I don’t think fringe is a bad thing. This is especially true with handbags. It offers this wonderful boho chic quality that just can’t be beat! Not all fringe is created equal, however. It comes in many different variations. Most handbags featuring fringe have layers of fringe covering the body or a single row of fringe raining down from the bottom edge. This particular bag, on the other hand, does not have fringe anywhere on its body. Instead, the fringe is flowing from the extra long shoulder strap. I think that fringe located on the shoulder strap actually draws more attention to the handbag because it is closer to eye level. Pairing this piece with a simple shirt is sure to add some interesting texture and it will showcase the beauty of the fringe quite nicely. Something contrasting (as seen on the model) would be a good choice as well, especially if you want the fringe to really stand out.
