Deysa’s Favorite Bag Designer of 2011: Tory Burch

This year sure went by fast and along with it; I take with me a mental collage of some of my favorite leather goods and accessories from throughout the seasons. Us bagista’s know which designers were hot, which weren’t, the ones who drastically emerged and the ones who had the nerve to copy some other House’s original designs. When it comes to my favorite designer of 2011, my preference goes to the designs of someone who perhaps isn’t classified as being a Couture House and to one who carries accessories ranging in different styles, colors, price ranges and personalities.

If there is one trait that all Tory Burch accessories carry is attitude. Whether they’re lady-like, sporty, bohemian, traditional, or trendy; each piece is unique and targeted to different women of all age groups. The Burch designs have been accused of copying the original ideas of other brands, whether those allegations of truthful or false, Tory Burch has truly made her name into an All-American fashion brand. Straw, canvas, thick leathers, bold hues and oversized hardware are some of Burch’s favorite textiles that assemble her designs.

Recently, I’ve been a big fanatic of the clean and classic Robinson collection, but of course the bohemian chic styles of her original collection are highly appealing as well. You can discover all the colors and textures the Tory Burch collection has to offer via: Shopbop
