September 15, 2013, was the Phillip Lim for Target release and you better believe I was there bright and early. I had actually stayed up all night to try to get a hold of some handbags. I ended up ordering nine just in case I wasn’t able to get any in store. I can’t even tell you how crazy it was. It was literally a madhouse of men and women fashion lovers running around everywhere grabbing anything they could. My goal was the handbags and I almost got all of them I wanted! Overall though, I’m pretty happy and I would say the launch was pretty successful because all of the handbags are now sold out!
Anyway, ever since I was tuned into all the hype of the Phillip Lim’s Target collection I kind of fell in love with all of his designs. At the moment, I’m absolutely loving the 3.1 Phillip Lim Ryder Crossbody Bag. I love that it’s so tiny and in the shape of a little box. The zippers kind of catch your eye because it kind of looks like the bag has glamorous earrings hanging from it. The bag is pretty simple but stunning and that’s what I love about Phillip Lim. He truly designs fashion that is simple but yet classy and sophisticated. I’m a huge fan of his and his Target collection made me fall in love with him more! What do you think of the “Ryder”?
