Shoko for Meli Melo: The Dinosaur Clutch!

Who is Meli Melo? When I think of this designer, I think of the unique, yet classic Thela Tote. The distinctive buckle closure and “sideways” handles set the bag apart from the rest. But there is more to this designer. Since launching Meli Melo ten years ago, Melissa Del Bono has managed to create a recognizable brand without the use of in-your-face logos. More recently though, she has been experimenting with the look of Meli Melo. Yep, as you can see here, things are looking A LOT different. Check out these Shoko for Meli Melo Dinosaur Printed Clutches!

Melissa Del Bono teamed up with Japanese blogger and artist Shoko, to create these very unique pouch clutches. The doodles, created by Shoko, depict a couple of different dinosaurs. The first is an ankylosaurus wearing a space helmet and there are stars and rockets sprinkled in the background. The second, well, I am not sure what the second one is supposed to be. I would say a tyrannosaurus of some kind, but it has spines down its back and polka dots on its body. It reminds me more of Godzilla than it does a dinosaur. Accompanying the dinosaur are various fruits and toucans, of all things. Both clutches are made of soft pebbled leather. The soft colors and playful prints make these Shoko for Meli Melo clutches surprisingly perfect for spring!

The Shoko for Meli Melo Clutches are available: Dino in Blush Pink / Dino in Dusk Grey
