In Bihar’s Aurangabad district, a 27-year-old prisoner, who was convicted under the Arms act, accused in four cases and was facing charges of extortion and assault was released for showing reform and good behaviour.

However, the prisoner who was released on Gandhi Jayanti went onto kill two people the moment he stepped out of prison. Pawan Kumar Singh, a resident of Aurangabad’s Nabinagar police station area found out that his wife was having an illicit relationship with his co-prisoner in Sasaram jail, Mohammad Shafiq, Hindustan Times reported.
