Mike Jackson Confused By Dana White Claiming He’s Done In UFC, Fighter Tells Fans to ‘Knock Off’ the CM Punk Hate

As noted, despite CM Punk losing his second MMA fight at UFC 225, and President Dana White claiming “it should be a wrap” on Punk’s UFC career, White praised Punk after 225 and said “I love the guy.”

White did not have the same feelings towards Punk’s opponent, Mike Jackson, as he trashed him for acting like a “goofball” in The Octagon and not finishing the fight when he feels Jackson could have.

Furthermore, White exclaimed that as fas as he is concerned, Jackson is 0-2 in UFC, and that his UFC career is also over.

Jackson appeared to be dumbfounded by White’s comments, as he Tweeted the following reaction:

I’m legit confused here. I’m trying to figure out how I was “cocky” & “taunting”?! I’m sorry, I didn’t knock out Phil, dude is hella tough. And I didn’t want to get caught with some dumb shit. pic.twitter.com/ucCb0y8HwT

Fighter Tells Fans to ‘Knock Off’ the CM Punk Hate

In related news, former UFC star Sam Alvey took to Twitter following UFC 225 on Saturday night and praised CM Punk for the hard work he put into his fight against Jackson:

I see a lot of hate towards @CMPunk and i think y’all should knock it off. He’s worked his ass off to become someone that people want to see compete. He was offered the opportunity and who wouldn’t have said yes. He trained, he bled, and he lost. It happens, no need for the hate
