Gujarat Congress MLA Alpesh Thakur has courted controversy after a video of him along with the MLA of Radhanpur showering currency notes from the stage at a folk music function has surfaced.

The video, which is said to be from Saturday was from a devotional programme in Patan district.

In the video, Thakur is seen standing on the stage showering what appears to be Rs 10 notes on folk singers as the music was being played.
